I was very happy with the service on the day. The staff, were all very friendly, kind and helpful. However a few weeks later there is a problem with the photos. The photos were taken with a professional service and I have used this service for other passports with no issues. This I feel should have been highlighted on the day.

As a well read and educated person I had never heard of apostolic stamp to verify that certs are genuine so I ran into the problem at my appointment. The guidance on filling out the application did not go far enough to explain what was needed, only saying a legalised marriage cert. If it had been more detailed about the apostolic stamp I would have found out about it. Brenda was very helpful though in facilitating me not having to travel back to Dublin but submitting the cert by registered post once the stamp was applied.

The whole experience of obtaining citizenship and applying for an Australian passport has been stress free, culminating in my visit to the embassy in Dublin to submit the passport application. Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Thank you all.
